On 23 September we celebrate Bisexual Visibility Day with a selection of events in Madrid and Valencia to meet, learn, build community and put bi+ experiences at the centre.
23 September is Bisexual Visibility Day, a date to celebrate bi+ lives, challenge stereotypes and create spaces where identity, desire, culture and community can be discussed without having to fit into other people's labels.
Halo has selected three events around 23 September that we think are especially worth checking out: film and conversation in Madrid, a workshop on bisexual history and culture in Valencia, and a space to reflect on identity and self-esteem in Barajas.

The Cinemateca Pedro Zerolo, a project by Fundación Pedro Zerolo and Acción Triángulo, comes to Ateneo La Maliciosa with a selection of short films from its Cine y Diversidad programme to mark International Bisexuality Day.
This is more than a screening: afterwards, creators and audience members will take part in a conversation. A great way to celebrate 23 September through culture, listen to different experiences and keep bi+ diversity visible.

Contexto Queer is dedicating September to bisexual visibility with a series of workshops about bisexuality. The special 23 September session focuses on bi+ history and culture: references, memory, questions that still spark debate and stories that are often left out of the most visible LGBTIQ+ narratives.
